Supervisor wanted to work for a busy Mobile Phone Refurbishing warehouse based in Waltham Abbey.

We require an experienced Supervisor to lead, engage and manage a Team of colleagues on a daily basis. To achieve the company objectives of delivering and striving to exceed the targets of your department by creating and maintaining a positive, professional and a dynamic working environment and driving individual and team contribution through training, development and setting and defining clear objectives daily.

You are to develop best practices through managing process and ensuring all HR matters are dealt with promptly to ensure the department runs effectively and efficiently.

Role and Responsibilities

  • To continually engage team members to ensure maximum levels of personal performance.
  • Ensuring daily targets of production are achieved by yourself and the team through high levels of motivation and a commitment to always achieve.
  • Coaching & development of colleagues as well as training and dealing with mediocre performance.
  • Be fully conversant with company operations, products and the services offered to ensure your team have the tools, knowledge and skills to carry out their job effectively.
  • To continually develop teamwork throughout the department with regular communication and updates.
  • Ensure the team have sufficient technical knowledge and skills in order to complete tasks and have regular coaching sessions with the team to ensure objectives and targets are being met.
  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job-holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.
  • To take responsibility for personal development, learning and performance levels.
  • Enforcing West One Technology policies with regard to security, with a view to safeguarding stock.
  • To ensure daily housekeeping duties are carried out effectively including compliance with all relevant best practice in place.


  • Success will be measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set around key areas of responsibility, namely:
  • To continually monitor the team and the individual to ensure a high level of employee performance through, appraisals, communication, training, management (performance) and disciplinary hearings.
  • To control absence/timekeeping and act accordingly.
  • To communicate any changes to the team in an open honest and concrete manner.
  • To keep the team informed of workload and progress against KPI’s.
  • To recognise good performance and reward accordingly.
  • To identify any weaknesses / training needs within the team and performance manage accordingly.
  • To monitor levels of productivity and act accordingly.
  • To carry out regular appraisals and reviews on all members of the team.
  • To maintain discipline.
  • To be honest, fair & consistent when dealing with employees.
  • To be professional at all times.
  • To keep the Senior Management team informed, of any pending/imposing threats or issues.
  • To have a constructive input in meetings, decisions and be confident to voice a constructive opinion.
  • To communicate change in a positive manner.

Working hours

  • 09:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week with the option paid overtime.

  • The starting salary is £9.50 - £10.50/hour | £22,230 - £24,570(annum).
